The Friends of Danvers Dog Park raised over $31,000 between 2009 and 2016, by appealing to Danvers businesses for support, planning comedy night, dog wash and yard sale fundraisers, and by asking owners of registered dogs in town to contribute. This effort qualified us for an amazing grant program which required a cash contribution equal to 10% of the construction costs.  As a result, we were able to dream big and build one of the best dog parks around! After hosting an "Ice Cream for Breakfast" celebration in February, Cherry Farm Creamery donated nearly $2,200 to the Danvers Dog Park, pushing them well over the minimum for the title of "Trainer!"
